Bio
What inspires you to compete?
Mostly my parents, but my friends at the track inspire me also. Once I started competing I never looked at riding a dirt bike the same way again. It became a completely different level of excitement that I can’t even explain.
What has been your most embarrassing moment?
My most embarrassing moment was when I first got my 1995 XR50 I was about nine at that time, and my dad was on the back with me teaching me how to ride it. I was doing ok in the beginning until the bike popped a wheelie and my dad flipped off the back. I crashed, landed with the handlebars in my ribs and started crying like a little girl. I didn’t want to get back on for a while. My parents convinced me to give it another try. My second crash was even better, I was riding the bike by myself, I shifted gears and popped another wheelie, I hit the garage and took out my mom’s flowerbed. She was pregnant with Travis standing at the end of the flowerbed, I was aimed right for her. Luckily she moved out of the way, It was a horrible experience.
Some Personal Information About Me:
I am 16 years old and daughter of Brett and Danielle Wilkinson. Sister of Travis Wilkinson. I am a junior at Oswego High School.
Do you train? What does your schedule look like?
Yes I train by trying to eat healthy and staying fit. I am starting to go to the gym, and just ended my wrestling season. Wrestling was like boot camp, it did a great job of kicking me into shape. It was just what I needed.
What do you want to be when you grow up?
When I grow up my goal is to get into the nursing field and become a surgical nurse and take it from there. Nursing is a great choice for a career for me because broken bones, blood, needles, and busted up people don’t bother me.
